I actually wrote this song about 14 years ago and then recorded guitar and vocal a couple of months ago as an experiment in harmonies. I then decided to try and full out the song for a bit for fun but of course the timing of live recording was very poor so all other instruments have to be painstakingly matched - not a loop or copy anywhere! Some of it works, some of it doesn't. It is very much not finished and you will see that everything drops off just before 2:00 and it turns back into pure acoustic. Anyway I haven't got time to finish it because I am going into a rehab clinic tomorrow so I thought I would throw this on here just for fun. I decided to start from scratch and came up with a fairly different sounding track but I wasn't happy with the lyrics and vocals. To try and sort this out I started again with an even more stripped down version of the song but it took on a life of its own. Nothing seemed to work right until eventually about half an hour ago a new tune and lyric was born. guitar is fairly roughly patched together and vocal is very "off" because its so new but I thought I would see what people think.
